Testing out canva software
Hello, in today's post I would like to test out the software I will be using this term for the first time.
CANVA testing
1. The wide range of available templates
On a Canva website each user can choose fitting to their needs template or create their own design. The range of templates is wide so everybody can find something what works for them.
As this term I work on charity advertisement I decided to test out a 'poster' template.
2. The diversity of topics.
As I have chosen to design my own poster, then I could choose which topic will it be so I clicked 'campaign', because this is the most relevant to my project.
3. Watermarks.
One of the disadvantages of this website is a limited subscription policy and watermarkes you will need to pay for to delete them. This could be frustrating.
Finally while testing I have created 2 posters on global warming which you can see below.
Reflection:
I enjoyed using Canva webiste as it is clear to design any piece and it looks visually apealing even though you're not good at doing graphics. Although this tool has some disadvantages, but what I can say from my own experience is that nobody is perfect and there are always some imperfections, so my thought is that next time I should use only free sources on canva.
This is a nice post that shows off your progress. What alternatives were there for this type of software?
