Creating Charity Advertisements for the portfolio

Hello, in this post I would like show how I created my final piece of my project on the canva website.

1. Anti-smoking advert.

Firstly I have chosen the template I wanted to use and add my copyright free photo.

Secondly, I have started editing the biggest headline and experient in it using different colours like: white, yellow or black.

Thirdly, I have used a filter to add some texture to the photo.

The fourth step was to decide finally on headline colour and to add lift to the font and make it bigger to cover a man standing with a phone in the background.

The fifth step included adding two texts: one with statistics on smokers mortality on the right side and teh second one in the bottom part as a reference list for the data given.

In the last step I have designed a charity logo using a graphics from the canva website and interesting handwriting font. Then I checked the advert twicely and corrected my spelling in the logo text.

2. Anti-drinking advert.

Firstly I have decided to work without any template as my advert project included little details, only a slogan and a few repeated in different measures graphics. I upload my photo and change it colour into 'Street' filter.

Secondly, I have chosen a graphics of a drunk man, duplicate it few times, resize and fit them into the style with using transparency to show how he walks through the backgriund and the mirror, as though he camn be seen in the mirror and in the reality.

Thirdly, I added a short catchy slogan 'Think and Drive' and spent a few minutes to find the best font, which looks the most classy for this.

The final outcome of this process allow me to produce two charity advertisements, which I uploded on my portfolio website and added a short intoduction to each of them.
