Software choice

 Hello! 

In today's post I would like to talk about two digital tools which I will be using for my final assessment. I will show you the possibilities and the potential of those softwares and I would point out their disadvantages and defects.

ANIMAKER

To begin with we will start with my fist software choice which is Animaker.

That platform is an online digital tool to create the  attractive animated videos especially aiming at the youngest audience like in my case secondary school students. 

Advantages:

• it gives the potential user  the opportunity to create high (even in 4k) quality animated, business and personalised videos easily
• has a wide range of animated characters, backgrounds, templates
• it allows you to add music, titles and voice over
• has formats ready to share on a variety of social media

To make my first video I chose ' 5 moods During the day'  template and looked at panels on the both side of a screen. On the left side I could see the alluring time lapse examples and in the right part of a screen there were the actions shots/slides of a videos. 

Disadvantages:

• you can download only up to 5 videos with a watermark added in a free plan
• to access high quality videos you have to choose pricey subscription package
• it is not a pro tool for qualified people 

To my point of a view Animaker is a great choice to begin the journey and create a colorful video in a few minutes effortlessly. That software has a clear design it is friendly for the beginners and intermediate users, but it won't be a great choice for professionals that need to work on the details or even create their piece of work from the very first stage like sketching the objects or characters. I have chosen that tool to create short videos for young students on English Grammar. This platform would be the most useful, because it has everything what I need for that in a one place.

CRELLO

The second software I have chosen to look at is Crello

Crello is a software that helps the user create their own ebook or digital magazine. 

Advantages:

• it has a broad range of available templates
• you can add videos, music, photos, objects and animations to the ebook
• it is possible to save the file in a various formats such as: pdf, png, jpg, MP4 and GIF file
•  is free

On the front and every next page you can add, modify and customise a text to your preference.

In the bottom right corner you can easily add a new page with the template you have chosen.

You can choose the file format which you prefer the most and pages to save your project.

Disadvantages:

• the changes in a text does not save automatically
• you have to create an account to download the piece that you made

To sum up I consider Crello as very handy digital tool thanks to its transparent design. I created an ebook in a few minutes without facing any additional barriers. Everything what I needed I could access easily or find the relevant substitute.  Crello is a fully digital tool with visible panel structure and unpaid plan. It is useful and suitable for the people interested in writing ebooks or magazines. However, I believe that there are more available softwares with the same or even more features that made them more attractive for the users.
