About me photo

 Hello!

In today's blog I would like to show you how I change my photo on my portfolio website and replace it with a more professional one, which I have taken in week seven of my course.

There were a few attempts to make the best photo I could ever imagined... I didn't have professional camera, studio and studio lamps. All I could do in order to make the most of my photo was using my phone camera, take the photo in daylight and use Black&White filter to make it look both serious and professional. Here are some of my photos:

I like that 1st photo even though I did not choose it. I like light on my face and background color, which might look like I had a special white screen behind me ( like in a studio). However, finally I did not choose that photo, because it is a selfie, what does not make it look appropriate for a portfolio.

That 2nd photo you can see is the one I chose, because to me I believe I look both friendly and professional. It is not a selfie like the previous one and it has good proportion. The only imperfection here it is in a right top corner, which I will cut off before uploading in on a website.

Let's upload it on a website 

Firstly I clicked on my photo and clicked option 'change image' then I cliked 'upload media' and choose the photo from my computer and wait until it will be saved. 

Secondly I started croping my photo and I cut out the background and replace it with black color. 

Then I customised it one more time on a website on About Me page and Bio.
