Set essay brainstorming

Hello

In the next few weeks I am going to work on my set essay. The topic that I have chosen is relevant to my progression route - Media & Communication, as it is analysis of the Scottie's Nightmare scene from Alfred Hitchock's film - Vertigo (1958).

In my piece of writing I will be considering this scene in terms of technical codes used, such as 

• camera angles
• miss-en-scene
• lightning
• sound/music

For my set essay I won't be using all of these film shots, but I will describe the whole scene sometimes displaying pictures to demonstrate some of the codes and conventions within the Vertigo film.

The brainstorming board was created on a Milanote website, as I used it previously and I enjoyed it. Although for those who loves to experiment I recommend similar platform Canva to create mind maps.
