Developing my Major Project No.2

  Hello!

Today I would like to focus on developing my major project in order to continue working on it with mind fully set on the final deliberate result. In the last post about developing my project I posted how did I created my 1st presentation, today I am going to show the second one and how step by step I created a quiz in kahoot app.

Let's get to the point: Creating a Presentation!

2. Present Tenses

For the cover of my presentation/first slide I have used the same template as for the 1st presentation about Modal Verbs to make my work consistent and logic.

In the second slide I used the same layout and form, but I changed the contents of a lesson.

In the 3rd slide I explained common use of the Present Simple Tense and gave some examples and grammar rules when that sentence should be used.

As next I showed in a table how to build a sentence and use correct forms for each person.

On the 5th slide you can see that I had include a task in a student's book that is related to the topic of a lesson.

The next image pictures how I explain some common Present Continuous Tense rules and wrote down some examples.

Here you can see I inserted a table with a explanation how verbs in Present Continuous tense changes in every person singular or plural.

In the next slide I explained what are stative verbs and why they are wrongly used.

In the 9th slide I gave a task to the students that they will be able to to find in their book.

For this I created a quiz in a kahoot app to check the student's knowledge and help the get interested in a lesson by having fun and using digital tools.

In the last slide I thanked for attention.

Let's get to the point: Creating a Kahoot quiz!

1. First I sign up on kahoot and choose options that fit me. I clicked option teacher ( because i am going to make a virtual class for students as a teacher) and then option School.

2.Second, I chose a template 'kahoot for formative assessment' that helped create my quiz faster.

3. Third, I clicked ' Create' and started building question that I would like to ask students. For every response I added 20 seconds time.

4. Fourth,  I created a question with answers TRUE/FALSE.

5. Fifth, I added next question with 4 answers as you can see.

6. Sixth, I wrote another question related to use of Present Continuous.

7. Seventh, I chose the last question with four answers.

8. Eight, I renamed the quiz and saved it.
